m modern works

Alrighty! Here are the two paintings I've been teasing about for the last little while : D
The show opens up this Friday (May 9th) at the m modern gallery in Palm Springs, CA -- a big, juicy group show focused mostly on a Tiki Theme, but kinda open as well ~

hey sarah, thanks for adding me. Your stuff blows me away!!! I paint, but i dont know how to paint like you do!!! How did you learn? Studying? Or you just sort of know how to ?

How did I learn to paint... practice and observation(and a lot of it)! I was terrible at painting when I started, but it was just so much fun I couldn't give it up ;D

Good luck with your painting! I'm sure if you keep at it you'll find what you're looking for ^__^ Thank you for the interest and the kind words too ~

Working on a lot of stuff. Will post about those when the time is right, though ^__^

Started exhibiting through a local art center, press carried me to a cafe, luck brought me to a gallery, then initiative and good timing got me where I am now... None of it was ever really planned though, just embraced the opportunities when they arose ~
